Quick Take

Bias: Smidge-Right

  • Judge throws out Pinkett Smith’s lawsuit over Jamie Harrison’s “At Our Table” podcast name.
  • Pinkett accuses Harrison of “cry-baby pandering” and branding theft; public calls it “Temu Red Table Talk.”
  • Harrison allegedly overruled “Blue Table Talk” and rejected “Come Sit With Us” pitched by overpriced consultants.

LOS ANGELES, CA — In a predictable District Court ruling, a Federal District Court Judge has officially tossed Jada Pinkett Smith’s lawsuit against former DNC Chair Jamie Harrison over his podcast name “At Our Table.”

Pinkett, known for her world-renowned show Red Table Talk, claimed without evidence that Harrison’s podcast name could confuse the public and make them think her Red Table Talk was a Republican podcast, due to the highly suspicious and “triggering” presence of the word “Red.”

Yes, really.

Pinkett reportedly feared that “Red Table Talk” could now be misconstrued as a MAGA-adjacent space where people swap conspiracy theories, praise Joe Rogan, and talk about “traditional families.”

Harrison’s “At Our Table” podcast, which currently boasts three loyal listeners and one unhinged Reddit thread, was somehow deemed a national branding threat by Team Pinkett.

Insiders revealed Harrison originally wanted to call his podcast “Blue Table Talk” to make it clear that only approved Democrat talking points would be discussed.

However, Harrison allegedly overruled that idea, opting for “At Our Table” because it was a better way to signal that young men aren’t welcome at Democrat tables outside of election years. One anonymous DNC staffer said the name was “strategic exclusion, just like we planned.”

To add insult to self-inflicted injury, a $1.5 million consultant (who spoke off the record because she’s still billing them) told Someday News that she pitched “Come Sit With Us” for the show title.

Irregardless, two feminist podcasters already owned the name and refused to sell, citing “the integrity of the sisterhood” and the fact that they “don’t negotiate with performative men who daintily cross their legs when they sit.”

A Slap of Reality

Pinkett, still reeling from her lawsuit loss, told Someday News that unless Democrats are willing to “walk up to Trump and slap him in the face like Will did to Chris Rock,” they should “zip it, sit down, and let the women do the talking.”

Meanwhile, Pinkett took issue with “soy boy energy” radiating from Harrison’s guest list, criticizing the show’s reliance on “healing conversations” that she described as “grown men crying about how they’ve failed the Democratic Party, again, and calling that activism.” She added, “If I wanted to watch a man cry about being inadequate, I’d rewatch the Oscars.”

“Temu Red Table Talk”

Public reaction to “At Our Table” has been unanimously hilarious, with many calling it “the Temu Red Table Talk,” a budget knockoff of Pinkett’s original.

Despite branding itself as “A Different Kind of Convo,” the show has been reluctant to have any actual honest conversations, notably dodging topics like Biden’s mental acuity and the biological reality of trans women in sports, a topic critics argue directly contradicts their branding of men as “protectors.”

Pinkett told sources, “If Jamie Harrison wants to ‘heal,’ he should start by admitting that gaslighting America isn’t a conversation, it’s a con.”

One Last Warning?

While her lawsuit was tossed, Pinkett may not be done. Sources close to the Red Table Talk star say she is exploring other options, including the possibility of sending Will Smith to “At Our Table” headquarters to deliver a “Chris Rock-style correction” to Harrison if he continues “appropriating the table brand without proper emotional or financial reparations.”
