Man boob (moob) reduction surgery should be covered by insurance, man boob expert explains why

By Justin Sayne

Man boobs (moobs), officially known as gynecomastia, is a condition where biological males develop breasts, or a chest that identifies as breasts. Medically, it’s the development of excess breast tissue. This condition can cause decreased confidence, t-shirt wearing in pools, low-self-esteem, and depression.

Moobs can occur for a variety of reasons, including chugging White Claws, pounding pre-workouts, fatty protein shakes, feasting on pizza and wings, shots of molly water, and other medicinal side effects, it can often be treated with moob reduction surgery.

However, many men who have not profited enough crypto currency, or sold enough merch, or simply just have not secured the bag yet to afford the surgery.

That is why moob reduction surgery should be covered by health insurance for cis males, or men who identify as men.

Moob reduction surgery is not cosmetic surgery, despite what insurance carriers tell you, moob reduction surgery can improve mental health. The surgery is a social and psychological necessity for men who suffer from moobs.

Detractors argue that moobs are simply a cosmetic concern and dismiss any mental health concerns, while simultaneously arguing it’s ok for biological women who identify as men to get mastectomy’s which is covered by insurance.

Dr. Bhigjugs a quantum gynecomastia psychologist shared “men with moobs often experience bullying, shame, chafing, and even ‘titty twisters’ due to moobs.”

We were unable to corroborate the doctors claim men with moobs are the victims of increased nipple harassment.

Studies show men with moobs often experience pain, discomfort, and they can make it difficult to exercise, participate in sports, or even perform everyday tasks increasing the chances of obesity and fatphobia.

United States healthcare is a multi-billion-dollar industry and procedures or often unaffordable and inaccessible for men who identify as men. Insurance coverage for moob reduction surgery can help to address issues of inequality in healthcare.

It’s a system of inequity because only people with excess money and women are are trapped in the wrong body can afford it. Health insurance companies and the Biden-Harris administration can help level the playing field and ensure that everyone has access to the moob reduction surgery they need to help improve their quality of life, and overall mental health.

Or should we just tell men with moobs to ‘man up’?
